Hello, and welcome to Bike Bellingham! My name is Sarah. I’m so glad you’re here.

I love exploring by bicycle. For twelve years, I lived as a full-time nomad, pedaling thousands of miles exploring my wanderlust. Along the way, I guided bike trips and designed itineraries for tour companies. In 2024, I decided to put down roots here in Bellingham. While I now live a more conventional lifestyle, I’ve funneled my passion for bicycle travel into sharing two-wheeled exploration with others. I started Curioocity LLC, a business that develops tours that foster discovery and connection to community. BIKE Bellingham is one of the programs I’ve developed through Curioocity.

I’m a big believer in making your community the one you want to live in. BIKE Bellingham is my way of both giving back and paying forward to this community that means so much to me. The Ride Guides are free for cyclists, and while I do have some sponsors, it’s not enough to cover the expenses. There are numerous hard costs (such as software and hosting fees) in offering this program — not to mention the countless hours that go into creating each and every Ride Guide.
