Frequently Asked Questions
Rides
The rides are suitable for casual cyclists. The routes vary in distance from 5-30 miles in length and have an elevation gain of 200-1500 feet. The distance and elevation are specified at the top of each ride guide overview.
Depending on the ages and riding skills of young ones, many of the rides are suitable for kids. Use your own discretion.
The ride surfaces vary from hard-packed dirt and crushed gravel bike trails to dedicated bike lanes and lightly trafficked streets. The rides have been chosen to maximize the most pleasant, scenic, and safe routes.
As the rides are on paved surfaces and well-maintained city trails, most any bicycle is appropriate.
